ERIE- Southwestern/Maple Grove defeated the Jamestown Raiders, 5-2, in a Lakeshore League playoff game Tuesday night at the Erie Civic Center.
The first goal was scored by Southwestern/Maple Grove's Branden Decker unassisted.
Jamestown's Bill Krywy scored from Justin Andriaccio to tie the score.
With 29 seconds left in the first period, Curt Carlson of SW/MG scored with an assist from Alex Carlson.
Southwestern/Maple Groves Ryan Schutte scored in the second period with assists from Graham Josephson and Curt Carlson to increase the lead to 3-1.
Alex Carlson started the third period off with a goal for Southwestern/Maple Grove with an assist from Tommy Gerace and Curt Carlson for a 4-1 lead.
Jamestown's second goal was scored by Krywy, assisted by Dylan Bergman.
Southwestern/ Maple Groves final goal was scored by Nate Stephens, assisted by Alex Carlson.
Ben Richard was goalie for Southwestern/Maple Grove and Tommy Fales was in the nets for Jamestown.
Southwestern/Maple Grove will play Meadville tonight in Erie.
