Violet Marie Cochran Bellandi, 86, died March 4, 2013 at WCA Hospital.
Formerly of 241 Clyde Ave., Jamestown, she was a resident at Lutheran Social Services for the past 7 1/2 years. She was born in Irvington, N.J. on May 21, 1926, the daughter of Michael and Anna (Jacobs) Churchill.
Besides her husband, Sebastian Bellandi Jr., she is survived by sister Helen Bunce of Kennedy, N.Y., a brother Michael Churchill of Jamestown, a son John R. Cochran Jr. of Arizona, a granddaughter Sara Thompson of Arizona, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Cochran, four sisters, two brothers and a grandson.
At her request, there will be no visitation or services. Any remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association.
At her request, her remains are being donated to the University at Buffalo Medical School.
