RIPLEY - Alma M. (Mann) Jones, 84, of 9326 East Main Road, Ripley, died at home after a short illness on Feb. 19, 2013.
She was born July 31, 1928, the daughter of the late Russell and Berdina (McIntosh) Mann.
Alma was devoted to the Lord and her family and was very active in church and local organizations. Many believe the most important of her God-given talents were her inspiring letters and notes.

She is survived by her loving children: Cheryl (Ray) Jones of Ripley, Jeffrey (Cindy) Jones of Brockway, Pa., Lori Michalowski of Nashville, Tenn; and the blessing of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In 1948, she married Ralph L. Jones, who died Jan. 28, 1993. Alma was also preceded in death by all her siblings, Aileen Mann (died as an infant), Arleen Whitney, James Mann and Lana Gonzales.
Family and friends are invited to share memories of Alma at a celebration of life to be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 1 p.m., at the Ripley United Methodist Church, 84 W. Main St., Ripley. Private burial will be held in warmer weather.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of your choice would be ap-preciated.
