Two Jamestown teenagers were awaiting arraignment after police said they assaulted and robbed a male victim Sunday night.

Police have charged Malek A. Morley, 18, and Kyle R. Senear, 18, with first-degree robbery, second-degree assault and fourth-degree conspiracy for an incident that occurred at 11 p.m. at the Charlestown Apartments.

Jamestown police responded to a report of an assault at 30 Charles St. It was learned that a male victim had been meeting friends when he was assaulted by two men in the group.

During the assault, the victim was allegedly stabbed in the knee and struck with a bottle. One of the suspects stole money from the victim, and both fled the area, police said.

Patrols were aware of the description of the suspects and later located Morley and Senear. Both teenagers were transported to Jamestown City Jail and help pending arraignment.

Jamestown police, in a news release, said the investigation is ongoing as there were other individuals involved who have not been apprehended.
