Edith May Woodard Ei-mers, 71, of 20 Pearl Ave., Jamestown died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born July 14, 1941, in Corry, Pa., the daughter of the late Martha Woodard Dorman.
In recent years, Edith worked at the Goodell Home. Earlier, she worked as a waitress, cook, and bar-tender at various area establishments, including Mi-leys Old Inn for many years.
Surviving are two sons, William Charles Hester Jr. and Jonathan Patrick Hester; nine brothers and sisters, Eugene, Rosa, Barbara, Shirley, Diane, Pat, Martha, Margo and Joe; and several nieces and nephews. Edith will be missed by her fami-ly, her many friends and her dog, Coco.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Marion E. Dorman Sr.; her husband, James "Jim" Eimers; a sis-ter, Ruth Porter; and two brothers, William E. Dor-man and Marion E. Dorman Jr.
At Edith's request, there will be no funeral service or visitation observed.
