A Jamestown woman is facing multiple charges following a single-vehicle accident Tuesday morning.
Tammy S. Anderson, 43, was charged with driving while intoxicated-drugs and failure to stay in lane. Jamestown Police Department and Alstar Ambulance were dispatched to the intersection of East Second and Buffalo streets at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday.
A Ford Explorer operated by Anderson was traveling east on East Second Street, when it swerved off the road and struck a utility pole head-on. The utility pole was sheered in half.

Anderson was transported to WCA Hospital for treatment. It was determined by investigation officers that Anderson was under the influence of prescription medications at the time of the accident. She was released with an appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date.
