Bruce and Birgit Hanson of Ashville, N.Y. announce the engagement of their daughter, Kirsten Anne-Lise, to Brian David Meess, the son of Daniel and Deborah Meess of Hamburg, N.Y.
Miss Hanson is a 2007 graduate of Panama High School and a 2011 graduate of Grove City College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in history. She is currently employed as a marketing assistant in Cleveland, Ohio.
Her fiance is a 2007 graduate of Frontier High School and a 2011 graduate of Grove City College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed as a mechanical engineer in Cleveland, Ohio.
