SYRACUSE - The Jamestown Red Raiders complete their regular season tonight when they entertain Orchard Park in an Erie County Interscholastic Conference Division 1 basketball game. Varsity tip-off is 7:30 p.m.
A victory secures their third consecutive outright division title and a top seed in the upcoming Section 6 Class AA playoffs.
The Red Raiders (15-2, 10-1), winners of eight straight, are also ranked No. 29 in the state, according to this week's New York State Sportswriters Association poll (through games of Feb. 10). That's an improvement of one spot from last week's rankings, which feature very little movement among area boys and girls teams.
Among the boys squads, Olean (16-1) remains No. 1 in Class B, and Silver Creek (17-0) and Maple Grove (16-1) are still No. 2 and No. 3 in Class C. Sherman (12-4) drops one place to ninth, while Brocton (13-3) moves up from honorable mention to No. 15 in Class D.

For the girls, Frewsburg (15-1) remains at No. 13, Chautauqua Lake (14-0) drops five places to No. 20 and Randolph, which knocked off the Bears earlier this week, fell out of the top 25. in Class C. In Class D, Sherman (15-1) remains at No. 11, and Clymer, which defeated the Lady Wildcats earlier this week, is still at No. 15.
