FREDONIA - Dunkirk resident Timothy J. Odebralski was charged with burglary, criminal mischief and petit larceny Tuesday following the conclusion of an investigation by members of the Fredonia Police Department.
Odebralski had a preliminary hearing Thursday in Village of Fredonia Justice Court at which time the case was transferred to the Chautauqua County Supreme Court, based on the felony burglary charge. Odebralski was returned to the County Jail in Mayville where he is being held on $25,000 cash or $75,000 property bail.
It is alleged that during daytime hours Monday, Odebralski forced entry into a locked home on Howard Street in Fredonia. After gaining entry, it is alleged he stole a nondisclosed amount of cash from the home before fleeing the scene in his vehicle. The home owner was not present at the time of the burglary but did return a short time later and contacted police.
