Geraldine "Jerry" Stonefoot of Webster Road in Laona, N.Y., passed away at home, Tuesday evening, Feb. 5, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the daughter of the late Jesse James and Ruth Russell Newell.
Geraldine was a homemaker with many other talents. She was a bus driver, she raised and sold flowers and she worked in Joe Nasca's Vinyards tieing and picking grapes. Geraldine was also a lifetime member of the Christian Science Church, an animal lover and an amusing joke teller.

She is survived by a sister, Doris Payne; a brother Fred Newell; her niece and nephew: Alice Shuart and Russell Krieger, who cared for her. Also many other nieces and nephews also survive.
Geraldine was married for many years and was the beloved wife of the late Lester Stonefoot. She was also predeceased by two brothers: Kenneth Newell and Milton Newell; and two sisters: Betty Longhouse and Norma Koser.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service in her honor on Saturday, Feb, 9, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Fredonia, Baptist Church on Temple Street in Fredonia, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations in her memory may be made to The Fredonia Fire Department, West Main Street, Fredonia, NY 14063; or the ASPCA, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
