Michael D. Pugh, 61, formerly of Jamestown passed away Monday (Feb. 4, 2013) in Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center.
He was born Dec. 6, 1951, in Elkins, W.Va., the son of Eugene E. and Ilene L. Carpenter Pugh.
Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving during the Vietnam War. In earlier years he was employed by Circle Mechanical, Clark Supply, Allied-Lynn, Allied Fire Protection and prior to retirement due to ill health by Fairbanks Farms.

He was a life member of the North American Hunting Club and the NRA. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, the outdoors, photography, NASCAR, motorcycles and listening to rock music.
Surviving are his wife, Catherine H. Pugh of Jamestown; two stepdaughters: Laurie (Kevin) Harrower of Jamestown, and Kris (Adam) Koehler of Merriam, Kan.; four stepgrandchildren: Casey Yonkers, Joshua, Brenna and Ian Koehler; his mother Ilene Pugh of Ripley; a brother, Randall Pugh of Sherman; three sisters: Norma Pugh of Mayville, Reatha Austin of Ripley, and Delores Curtis of Florida; and a half-sister Terri Wills of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his father Eugene E. Pugh, who died March 4, 2005.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
