Elliott R. Scott, 67, of Kennedy, passed away Sunday (Feb. 3, 2013), in Buffalo General Hospital.
A lifelong area resident, he was born June 18, 1945, in Jamestown, the son of the late Henry A. and Lorena Lawson Scott Sr.
Elliott was a graduate of Frewsburg High School, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War from 1963 to 1966. In earlier years, Elliott was employed by Watson's Manufacturing, had owned and operated LE & Son's Contracting and prior to retirement was employed by NAPA, retiring in 2012.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Elliott was a Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan, and he enjoyed collecting coins.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy P. Stevens Scott, whom he married March 16, 1968, in Bemus Point, N.Y.; five children: Darlene Duckett of Falcon-er, Greg (Candy) Scott of Kennedy, Julie Sample of Randolph, Randall Scott of Mayville, and Shannon (Michael) Johnson of Jamestown; 14 grandchildren: Lori McEntire, Aadam Duckett, Ashley Scott, Sarah Sample, Jacob Scott, Ashleigh Scott, Shayleigh Scott, Spencer Sample, Dylan Johnson, Mercedes Johnson, Brooke Scott, Brayden Scott, Shannon Scott and Melaine Johnson; two brothers: Clayton Scott of Busti, and Henry A. Scott Jr. of Dunkirk; and a sister, Carolyn Widmark of Frewsburg.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, DuWayne Scott.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in the Falconer Funeral Home. A memorial prayer service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Vern Terrill.
