Southwestern made an key adjustment that proved to be the spark it needed as the Trojans (7-3, 10-5) downed Gowanda in a Division 1 boys basketball battle on Monday night.
The Panthers (0-10, 2-13) made things interesting early, taking an 11-7 lead in the first quarter and Southwestern coach Andy Krenzer was anything but pleased at that point.
"We are not a 'pull-up' team," he said. "Stopping in the paint to shoot isn't our game. We made a change and it really helped a lot."
