The Winifred C. Dibert Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown and Chautauqua Opportunities will have a special Family Night on Thursday from 6:30-8 p.m.
The first Thursday of every month is in collaboration with Chautauqua Opportunities and features a special "Dedicated Dads" activity. These activities are designed for male role models and the children in their lives. This can include dads, stepdads, grandfathers, uncles, cousins or neighbors.
For February, they will be building and decorating model pirate ships. All supplies and a snack will be provided and there is no charge to participate in this event.
The Boys & Girls Club offers Family Night every Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Families must come together and stay together with parents supervising their children in program areas. The game rooms and computer lab are open from 6-9 p.m. Swimming is open from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Lifeguards are on duty but parents must be in the pool or pool area while their children swim.
The third Thursday of every month is our Family Plus event. For Feb. 21 there will be a Valentine Grocery Bingo where families can win grocery items.
The cost for family night is $1 for nonmembers (ages 5 and up). Free for members and those under 5.
The WCD Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown is a United Way agency and all youth programming is funded in part by the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County.
