Owen Swanson and his mother, Jamie Nesmith, enjoy some time together at Prendergast Library, which will celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day on Saturday. Between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., the library's children's room will offer activities such as guessing how many books are in a bag, trivia questions and a poetry writing station.
