January 26, 2013
The Post-Journal

The Chautauqua County Humane Society received a bounty of gifts for the pets under their care from area schools including Temple Elementary, Randolph Elementary and Frewsburg's Robert H. Jackson Elementary.

Each school conducted different sorts of efforts that ranged from classroom collections in lieu of gift exchanges and teacher's gifts to schoolwide efforts. The First Lutheran Church outreach center donated pet treats and fundraising proceeds too during a visit from Santa to the Strunk Road shelter.

The Chautauqua County Humane Society is a non-profit organization. Its mission is to care for homeless pets relies completely on public support. For more information, visit the Strunk Road Adoption Center or visit www.spcapets.com.
