CATTARAUGUS -The second quarter was the telling point as Portville defeated Cattaraugus-Little Valley (0-7, 1-11), 51-28, in Division 2 girls basketball on Thursday night.
Portville went on a 17-4 run in the second quarter to break it open en route to a 51-28 verdict over Cattaraugus-Little Valley.
Albanie Stives swished 14 points to lead Portville while Kaylee Eaton led C-LV with 12 points, four steals and three assists.
