LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Former Jamestown High School standout Erinne Cunningham is enjoying a storybook finish to her basketball career at Slippery Rock University.
The latest chapter? A selection as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division women's basketball "Athlete of the Week."
The senior, who is the Lady Red Raiders' all-time leader in 3-pointers made, earned this latest honor by averaging 16.5 points per game in a pair of Slippery Rock victories this past weekend.

Cunningham, a guard, netted 10 points in a 12-point victory over rival East Stroudsburg and then poured in 23 points a day later in a 66-60 victory over Kutztown.
Over that stretch, the Jamestown native played for 72 of a possible 80 minutes, connected on 9 of 25 shots from the field, including six treys in 16 attempts, and sank 9 of 10 free throws. She also had 12 rebounds, dished out six assists, made four steals and, for good measure, rejected one shot.
Cunningham's play on the hardwood helped improve her squad to 4-9 overall and 3-6 in the PSAC.
This season the senior, who prior to joining Slippery Rock played at Monroe Community College in Rochester, is averaging 10 points, 3.9 rebounds and two assists in 12 games.
Three times she has led her squad in points, delivering a season-high 24 against Urbana on Nov. 10, 14 against Cheyney on Dec. 19 and the aforementioned 23 against Kutztown.
