Behind Alex Sullivan and Kara Schutte, Southwestern played probably its best first half of the season in defeating arch-rival Falconer in Division 1 girls basketball.
Sullivan had 13 points and Schutte added eight in the first half when the Lady Trojans built up a commanding 35-16 advantage.
However in the second half, Falconer (0-11, 0-6) made a game of it before Southwestern (5-6, 3-3) wound up with a 50-37 win.
