Margaret K. Ferguson, 98, formerly of 37 Columbia Ave., West Ellicott, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, in the home of her daughter in West Ellicott.
She was born March 1, 1914, in Johnsonburg, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Isabelle Gladis.
Following graduation from high school in Johnsonburg, she moved to Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown Business College.

She was a self-employed home care provider for several years, and was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who will be remembered as a good neighbor and friend willing to help whoever needed a hand. She loved gardening and was known for having an immaculate lawn and beautiful flower gardens.
Surviving are a daughter Susan Rohlin, with whom she made her home; two sons: Donald and Richard Ferguson, both of Lakewood; two grandchildren: Bryan Rohlin of Jacksonville, Fla., and Wendy Rohlin of West Ellicott; and three great-grandchildren: Debi, Kevin and Patrick Rohlin.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ferguson, Dec. 24, 1964; five sisters; and three brothers.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Monsignor Joseph M. Dowdell will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
