SW/MG Splits Weekend Games

Southwestern/Maple Grove split two hockey games last weekend in the Western New York Club League.

Ben Richard was in net for a 3-0 Sunday win over South Park.

Brandon Decker scored the first goal from Nate Stephens and Ryan Schutte.

Tyler Chase connected from Alex Carlson and the third goal came from Schutte from Tom Gerace and Stephens.

On Saturday, Southwestern/Maple Grove lost to City Honors/Cardinal O'Hara, 8-5.

Ryan Schutte tallied twice and added two assists while Nate Stephens had a goal and two assists for Southwestern/Maple Grove.

Gerace and Carlson delivered the rest of the goals for Southwestern/Maple Grove. Andy Farnham and Tyler Bell each had an assist to support goalie Noah Weinstein.
