Investigators from the Jamestown Police Department are investigating a burglary that occurred at a home on Charlotte Avenue sometime between 11 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday.
According to police, an unknown person entered the home and removed several items. Investigators located a ring at the scene that was left behind by the suspect. The ring is silver colored with a skull-and-crossbone design. Police report the burglar was wearing the ring when the burglary was committed.
"We are currently in the process of running tests on the ring for DNA evidence," said Captain Bob Samuelson of the Jamestown Police Department. "We're also in the process of interviewing multiple individuals and are looking for anyone that may have information related to the case."
Investigators discovered the pictured ring at the scene of a burglary on Charlotte Avenue. The ring was left behind by the perpetrator.
