SWCS Students Have Artwork Displayed

The Southwestern Central School Art Department has announced their current student art show at RydersCup, a local coffee shop in downtown Lakewood that regularly displays the work of local artists. Featured are works from kindergarten through 12th-grade students in classes taught by art teachers Jenny Brown, Amanda Laurin, Mark Kirsch and Renee Mitchener. Works include paintings, drawings, photography, collage and mixed media pieces with some whimsical and some with more of a serious note. Stop in to view the show and enjoy of delicious cup of coffee anytime during the month of January. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
