The Chautauqua Concert Band perform its 19th annual concert at the Reg Lenna Civic Center at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The theme is Concert Band Classics under the baton of John Cross and narration of Dennis Webster.
Some of the highlights for the first half of the program will include "Great Themes from Great Italian Movies," "Summon The Heroes," "In The Miller Mood," "Tidewater Festival Overture," "Canzona" and Leroy Anderson's "The Waltzing Cat." The featured soloist this year is Anne Dolce, who will perform Mozart's "Romanza" on French horn.

More than 200 middle school musicians from 16 local Chautauqua County schools will perform with the band during the second half of the concert. They will also attend instrumental classes, rehearse with the professional musicians and enjoy a live pre-show concert featuring the Infinity Big Band. Seventh-graders will perform "An Australian Sea Ballad," "Caribbean Carnival" and "Path of Destiny" under the direction of Becky Botsford, Jefferson Middle School band director.
Eighth-graders will perform "The U.S. Field Artillery March," "It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing" and "Black Forest Overture" under the direction of Karyl Bergy-Glenn, Pine Valley Central School band director.
