In 2010, Jamestown High School's Class of 1960 celebrated its 50th class reunion by collecting donations from classmates, friends and family members to establish a scholarship fund at the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.
In August, the Class of 1962 celebrated its 50th reunion with a weekend full of fun, old friends and a bit of charity work. With more than 250 classmates and guests attending the weekend's festivities, the Class of 1962 collected $3,630 to add to the Jamestown High School Class of 1960 Scholarship Fund.
The Jamestown High School Class of 1960 Scholarship Fund benefits a graduating Jamestown High School senior, or seniors, with a "B" average or higher. Special consideration is given to students who demonstrate leadership skills and an interest in community service.
