Victor M. Torres, 63, of 234 Fairmount Ave., Jamestown, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, in WCA Hospital.
He was born June 10, 1949, in Humacao, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Ju-lian Torres and Isabel Reyes.
Victor was a good husband and father who loved his family dearly.

Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Donna Kinney Torres; three children: Victoria, Julio and Victor Jr., all of Jamestown; two step-children: Eric Tanner of Bradford, Pa. and Jennifer Tanner of Jamestown; four brothers: Samuel, Julio, David and Alfredo; and four sisters: Reina, Carmen, Milagro and Gladys.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle Waline.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Alfonso Pagan will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
