MAYVILLE - Shelly L. Pettit, 49, of 715 Falconer St., Jamestown, formerly of Mayville, died Monday, (December 24, 2012) in the
Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center in Jamestown.
She was born June 15, 1963, in Westfield, the daughter of Bruce and Norma Thayer Pettit.

Shelly enjoyed the Senior Special Olympics. She loved music, dancing and parties.
She is survived by her mother, Norma Thayer Pettit of Delaware, Ohio; her father, Bruce Pettit; a brother, Jon (Linda) Pettit of Delaware; and two nieces, Erica and Michelle Pettit of Delaware.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Thayer, and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Pettit.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Freay Funeral Home, Mayville. Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday prior to the funeral.
