WEST VALLEY - Dani Reinwald once again shined as she put together a monster game for Clymer (2-0) in Division 4 girls basketball on Friday night.
Reinwald scored 34 points, brought down 18 rebounds and blocked five shots as the Pirates stopped West Valley (1-1, 3-2), 62-34.
The senior had 19 points by halftime and 15 more points in the second half. She got a lot of points when her teammates lobbed the ball into her and she laid it in.
Reinwald had eight points during a 21-4 second quarter as the Pirates went ahead at halftime, 33-17. The game was close until the last 3 minutes when the Pirates went on a 15-2 spree.
Jo-Linda Rhodes had 12 points, including three 3-pointers, for Clymer and Brenna Summers hauled down nine rebounds .

REED SHINES AGAIN
BROCTON - Elle Reed had a quadruple-double Friday night, helping Sherman (4-0, 2-0) cruise past Brocton (0-5, 0-2), 80-27.
Reed had a game-high 37 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists and 11 steals while Danielle Reed chipped in 12 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocks in the win.
The Lady Wildcats jumped out to a 25-4 first-quarter lead, before outscoring the Lady Bulldogs, 15-12 in the second to take a 39-17 lead into the break. Then, in the second half, Sherman outscored Brocton, 41-11, for the 80-27 final.
Bridget Yaw added 20 points in the win for Sherman while Jessica Putcher led Brocton with 11 points. Brooke Kuschell added 10 points and six rebounds for the Lady Bulldogs.
