Delmar Theodore ''Ted'' Fredrickson Jr., a longtime Rochester resident, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at the age of 85.
He was the son of the late Delmar and Pearl Johnson Fredrickson of Cassadaga.
Ted was predeceased by his sister, Lillian Fredrickson Washington.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Kathryn; children: Marla (Tim) Kasdorf, Carolyn (Steve) McCarroll, Larry (Patricia) Fredrickson; grandchildren: Nathan, Melissa, Melanie, Matthew, Craig, Kirsten; great-grandchildren: Kaylee and Lucas, sisters: Joan Buchanan and Marian Ward; and many nieces and nephews.
Ted was a 1944 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School, Tennessee Lumber School, Jamestown Community College and the University of Buffalo. Ted was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and served his country during the Korean War. He was a retired electrical engineer at Eastman Kodak, a longtime member and district master of Vasa Order of America (member of Klippan 328 and Thule 127 lodges), active at his church, AARP and the Rochester Amateur Radio Association (K2ROC).
Internment was held privately at Grove Place Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at First Congregational Church, 65 Church St., Spencerport, N.Y., on Saturday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m.
