Dunkirk's Khee Nance came through with a big performance on Tuesday, leading the Lady Marauders (3-2) to a 35-28 victory over host Southwestern (1-3) in Division 1 girls basketball.
Nance scored 26 of her team's 35 points and completed the double-double with 12 rebounds in a close battle, which had Dunkirk in the lead by just three points at the half.
Southwestern's Emily Wuebbolt had some early foul trouble and ended up on the bench for much of the first two quarters and was the scoring leader for the Lady Trojans with eight points and seven rebounds. Kara Schutte also had six boards.
Also for the winners, Lacey Clark collected five rebounds with five assists.
