The Post-Journal

An Irving woman is in jail following an incident at Holiday Valley in Cattaraugus County.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office on Monday said they have charged Carole L. Thompson, 45, of Irving, after she pushed a deputy and created a disturbance inside the Tamarack Club in Ellicottville. She was charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration.

According to a police report, deputies on Sunday were dispatched to the Holiday Valley Road club for a large party that received several complaints from other patrons. During their investigation, deputies were confronted by an "unruly female."

Police say Thompson then pushed a deputy and created a disturbance, hindering their investigation. Thompson was arrested and was arraigned in front of a judge in Ellicottville. She was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.

Thompson is to appear in Ellicottville Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
