Representatives from six local training providers will be on hand at the Chautauqua Works "New Year, New You" informational training event Wednesday to discuss the various training programs that they offer.
Chautauqua Works staff will also be available to discuss funding opportunities that may be available to those who qualify.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on the third floor of the Jamestown office.
"The New Year, New You event is designed for anyone who is unemployed, looking to upgrade their existing skills, or even just thinking about going back to school," said Meaghan Cappa, Chautauqua Works program manager.
Training providers attending the event include Jamestown Business College, Trocaire College, Jamestown Community College, Erie 2 BOCES, Fortis Institute in Erie and Statler Center.
