Elizabeth S. Hornberg

Elizabeth S. Hornberg, 91, of 125 Harvard St., was promoted to Glory to join her husband in heaven, Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, in her home, under the care of her daughter Michelle.

Coming to the United State in 1957, she was born March 10, 1921, in Bjuv, Sweden, a daughter of the late Karl Oskar and Vomina Johanna Mansson Persson.

She was a member of Salvation Army and its Ladies Aide.

Surviving is a daughter, Michelle (Greg) Hornberg Wilson of Jamestown; a sister, Elsa; and a nephew, Lars, both of Sweden.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gustav Horn-berg, whom she married Sept. 2, 1957, and who died Oct. 29, 1999; a brother, Ake and a sister, Ingeborg.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Salvation Army. Major Douglas Hart will officiate.

Friends will be received in Carlson Fellowship Hall of the Salvation Army fol-lowing the service.
