ELLINGTON - Delores M. Nieder, 84 of Ellington, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at home.
Born Dec. 13, 1928, in Jamestown, she was a Chautauqua County resident all of her life and daughter of the late Neal and Beatrice Beebe Erwin.
She was employed as a machine operator for Automatic Voting Machines of Jamestown for more than 15 years and had previously worked as a nurses aid at the former Newton Memorial Hospital in Cassadaga.

Delores enjoyed drawing, painting, crafts, baking and cooking.
Wife of 64 years to Charles E. Nieder, whom she married April 24, 1948; mother of Cathleen (late Paul) Swanson of Conewango Valley, Ronald (Deborah) Nieder of Gerry and Debra (Ronald) Eddy of Ellington; grandmother of Charles (Jamie), Loren (Brandy) and Chad (Jamie) Swanson, Kimberly (Allen) Swanstrom, Angela Thomas, Charlene Nieder, Brandy and Jeremy (Jennifer Nelson) Eddy; great-grandmother of 12; and sister of the late DuWayne (late Virginia) Erwin.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Valley View Cemetery, Ellington. No prior visitation. Arrangements are by Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate assistance with funeral expenses.
