Betty L. Scala
She lived a full life and was a very giving and generous person. She loved doing for others and gave many gifts of her personal crocheted items for years. She loved her family and friends more than anything.
In earlier years, she enjoyed watching her son race at Stateline Speedway, only to then watch her grandchildren and great-grandchildren live the racing dream as well. She was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan for many years. She loved to dance, especially square dancing in early years and had a strong love for her many Pekingese dogs.
Betty was survived by two sons: Gary (Barb) Lobb of Frewsburg, and Harold (Wanda) Lobb of Jamestown; nine grandchildren: John, David, Randy, and Barbie Lobb, Melissa Stelmack, Mindy Sanfilippo, Marci Wolfe, and Wayne and Dustin Wilson; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and one more expected in January 2013.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Maynard Lobb; second husband, John Sacla; a sister, Fayme Barron; and a brother, Jim Casker.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. Mrs. Carol Becker will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
