Kathleen Muntz of Jamestown, N.Y., announces the engagement of her daughter, Samantha Marie, to Kyle Patrick Cashmore, the son of Julie Cashmore of Lakewood, N.Y., and the late Thomas Cashmore. Miss Muntz is also the daughter of Larry Muntz and the granddaughter of Marie Nunz of Jamestown, N.Y. and the late Alfred Nunz.
Miss Muntz is a 2001 graduate of Southwestern Central School District and earned her dual Bachelor of Science degree in childhood and special education from the State University at Geneseo in 2006. She received her master's degree in education from Gannon University in 2009. She is employed by The Resource Center as a vocational rehabilitation counselor in Jamestown, N.Y.
Her fiance is a 2007 graduate of Southwestern Central School District and earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the State University at Fredonia. He is employed by the Gustavus Adolphus Family Services as a child-care counselor and is pursuing a career in law enforcement.
