Jeff and Mary Carlson of Ashville, N.Y. announce the engagement of their son, Ben, to Angie Hilty, the daughter of Duane and Carol Hilty of Strathmore, Calif.
Carlson is employed as a U.S. Navy instructor fighter pilot. Miss Hilty is employed as a marriage and family therapist in California.
A May 2013 wedding is planned.
