PANAMA - Senior Elijah Palmer was a double winner in boys swimming and seventh-grader Ethan Wood won for the first time in Panama's 114-70 win over Franklinville in the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus League on Thursday night.
Palmer captured the 50 freestyle in 24.43 and tied teammate Mike Yuchnitz in the 100 freestyle in 56.26. Meanwhile, Wood was first in the 100 backstroke in 1:14.77.
Justin Hatch doubled for Franklinville in the 100 butterfly (1:08.41) and took the 200 individual medley (2:29.47).
