BPU electric customers in the Falconer industrial area lost power around 10:15 p.m. Thursday and power was restored by 11:30 p.m. An event on the National Grid side of the Dow Street Substation affected equipment at the BPU Dow Street Substation, causing the outage. BPU and National Grid employees resolved the problems in a little over one hour.
