CLYMER - Senior Dani Reinwald had a double-double to lead the Clymer Lady Pirates (301) to a 66-46 non-league girls basketball win over Southwestern (1-2) on Tuesday night.
Reinwald finished with 28 points and 20 rebound and also picked up five blocks and four steals.
''They had no answer for her,'' Clymer coach Scott Neckers said.
The Lady Pirates led by 10, 28-18 at halftime and increased their lead to 20 in the third quarter. But before Southwestern battled back and cut the margin to nine.
''They started coming back, they didn't quit at all,'' Neckers said.
Then Clymer put the game away with a 22-15 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Jo-Linda Rhodes added 18 points for the Lady Pirates while Carly McAfoose had 11 and
Kayla Gilkinson pulled down six rebounds.
Alex Sullivan led Southwestern with 16 points and three steals while Jenna Yuchnitz had 13. Emily Wuebbolt had seven rebounds and three steals

CATTARAUGUS - A nightmarish first quarter led to the downfall of Cattaraugus-Little Valley (0-5) in non-league girls basketball Tuesday night.
''The shots just wouldn't go in the first quarter,'' said coach Diana Moore after Cattaraugus-Little Valley was blanked in the opening quarter, 9-0, and eventually lost to Franklinville, 41-34.
Vanessa Pfeiffer led Franklinville with 11 points and Ashley Harvey had 12 points for C-LV.
