Christmas Open House Is Thursday

WESTFIELD - The YWCA of Westfield will host the annual Christmas open house and hanging of the greens decoration party from 4-5 p.m. Thursday. Reservations are not required. Light refreshments will be served.

Parkinson's Group To Meet Thursday

WESTFIELD - The Absolut Care of Westfield's Parkinson's Disease Support Group Meeting will met from 4-5 p.m. Thursday. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month in the Absolut Care activity room.

Rodeo Seniors To Meet Friday

GERRY - The Rodeo City Senior Citizens will meet at noon Friday at the Gerry United Methodist Church for their annual Christmas luncheon and program. Those attending are asked to bring a dish of food to pass to add to the ham being provided and their own table service. Canned goods will be collected for the food pantry. New members are welcome.

JCC Works Part Of State Exhibit

Works by Jamestown Community College sophomore Joe Rice of Ashville and recent graduate Kyla Hill are among 27 works selected for inclusion in the Best of the State University of New York art exhibition. Their work was chosen from entries in the fall SUNY Student Art Exhibition which is on display at SUNY Plaza until Feb. 1. The Best of SUNY exhibition, which combines select pieces from the fall and spring shows, will open at the State Museum in Albany next May. The event showcases the most compelling works of art made by students attending SUNY campuses.

Brocton Library To

Host Story Hour

BROCTON - Preschool story hour with Mary Ellen Westin and Susan Raymond will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday in the Ahira Hall Memorial Library. The story will include Christmas-themed songs, stories and activities for children ages 2 through 5. For more information, call 792-9418.

Family Movie Night Is Thursday

BEMUS POINT - The Bemus Point Library will host a family movie night at 4 p.m. Thursday. The library will show Elf, featuring Will Ferrell and James Caan. Admission is free and popcorn will be served.
