Chase Jones scored a natural hat trick in a four-goal first period as the Jamestown Lakers defeated the Cheektowaga Warriors, 6-2, on Sunday afternoon at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena.

Cooper Spielman opened the scoring from Trenton Shutters before Jackson Yost and Shutters had single assists on two of Jones' goals.

Cheektowaga scored the only two goals of the second period with Kaleb Barnhard scoring from Ian Williams both times. Colby Jensen assisted on the first of the two goals.

In the third, the Lakers put the game away when Will Turner scored from Jones and goaltender Aiden Gibbons. Shutters scored the final goal from Spielman and Yost.
