Aiden Gibbons made a save on a breakaway early in the first period to help backstop the Jamestown Lakers to a 10-0 win over the Cazenovia Chiefs No. 2 on Saturday morning at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena.

Will Turner led the Lakers offense with a hat trick while also adding three assists. Trenton Shutters and Chase Jones each added a pair of goals while Cooper Spielman, Devin Wolfe and Evan Bishop also scored for Jamestown. Spielman added two assists while single helpers were picked up by Bishop, Wolfe, Jones and Callum Smith.

Gibbons earned his second shutout of the season.

HOUSE HOCKEY

Blade Ellis got the winning goal with 12 seconds left to enable Rock Hill Engineering to shade Arby's, 7-6, in Chautauqua County House Hockey action.

Ellis wound up with two goals as did Travis Culver, who had an assist, for the winners.

Kate Daugharthy had a goal and an assist while Justin Rowe and Colin Melquist added a goal and Andrew Telford an assist in the winning effort.

Garrett Darts led Rock Hill with three goals and two assist. Alan Christie added two goals and Patrick Radka a goal and an assist.

Nathan Radka was in the net for Rock Hill and Donald Dean for Arby's.
