David R. Lindfors, 72, of 3439 Route 430, Bemus Point, died at 9:40 p.m., Wednesday (Dec. 5, 2012), in the Erie Veterans Administration Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 24, 1940, in Jamestown, the son of Roy and Bertha Clark Lindfors.
A 1958 graduate of Jamestown High School, he had attended Grove City College, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Prior to retiring, he had been employed as a sales representative for the National Cash Register Co.
He was a member of the War Veterans Recreation Club, enjoyed sailing and hunting, and was a gun enthusiast.
Surviving are two sisters: Deborah K. Lindfors of Auburn, N.Y., and Kathryn D. Lindfors of Penn Yan, N.Y.; and two cousins: Beryl Clark Emley of Falconer, and Marilee Clark of Ashville.
He was preceded in death by his father on June 11, 1996, and by his mother on April 15, 2000.
