HANOVER - A Silver Creek woman was flown to Erie County Medical Center after rolling her vehicle Wednesday afternoon on Allegany Road.

Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call for a one-car vehicle rollover at 3:03 p.m. Mayjane Tundo, 48, of Allegany Road, Silver Creek had to be extricated from the vehicle and flown to ECMC via Starflight with non-life-threatening injuries.

Tundo allegedly swerved from her lane, crossed the opposite lane of traffic and drove onto the shoulder before pulling the car back across the road and striking a guardrail, causing the vehicle to flip and roll onto its roof.

A male passenger in the vehicle was transported to Lakeshore Hospital with minor injuries.

Charges are pending.

The sheriff's department was assisted by the Silver Creek Fire Department, Hanover Fire Department, Forestville Fire Department and Alstar.
