Celoron Christmas Dinner Is Dec. 19

The Celoron-West Ellicott Senior Citizens annual Christmas dinner will be at noon Wednesday, Dec. 19 in the Celoron Legion Post banquet room. Reservations are required; call 488-9891 by Dec. 14. Members attending should take a canned good for the Ashville Food Bank. Discussion will be on repair costs of the sound system. Don Christopherson gave the dinner prayer at a recent meeting attended by 50 seniors. Arlene Christopherson led the flag salute and conducted the meeting. Reports by Mrs. Christopherson, treasurer, and June Federko, secretary, were approved and accepted. Peg Gould stated cheer cards were sent to members. Beverly Lindstrom spoke on the Dec. 11 trip to Cleveland for dinner and to see the Christmas lights at GE Naila Park. It was voted on to check on repairs for the sound system, and a committee was formed. Birthdays were celebrated by Don and Arlene Christopherson, Alan Moren and Margaret Reichard. Richard and Shirley Carlson celebrated their wedding anniversary. Verna Feather spoke on her trip to Australia. The meeting closed with song.

Ladies Auxiliary To Meet Tuesday

The Veterans of Foreign Wars 557 ladies auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Members attending should take a food donation.
