Frewsburg Boys, Girls Bowlers Teams Sweep Past Clymer

FREWSBURG - Both the Frewsburg boys and girls posted 4-0 Division 2 bowling victories at Frewsburg Lanes on Monday.

Teamwise, the Bears tossed a 698-735-666-2,099 total while the Clymer Pirates had 591-647-641-1,879.

Kevin Rogers was the scoring leader for Frewsburg with 195-508. Clymer was led by David Applebee with 158-447.

The Frewsburg girls produced a 533-533-599-1,665 team total to Clymer's 465-480-540-1,485 with Shelby Snow shooting 177-484.

Jennelle Ingalls topped the Lady Pirates with 175-467.

FREDONIA SWEEPS

FREDONIA - Both the Fredonia boys and girls teams started the Division 1 season in style, posting 3-1 wins over Southwestern at Lucky Lanes.

The Hillbillies posted 872-772-803-2,447 while the Trojans rolled 762-822-733-2,317.

Ricky Burgstrom led Fredonia with 213-171-541, Collin Schanzlin had a 211 and Jeff Rowe a 209.

For the Trojans, Taylor West tossed a 214-205-579.

In girls action, the Lady Hillbillies produced a 607-750-725-2,082 team total while Southwestern hit 704-558-577-1,839.

Elizabeth Valvo had a 168 while Marionna Wiltsie and Morgan Dispense both shot 166s for Fredonia.

For the Lady Trojans, Amanda Stewart led the way with 216-476 and Shelby Kalfas had 161-467.

GOWANDA WINS

GOWANDA - The Gowanda boys and girls also had successful Division 1 outings in taking on Dunkirk at K&L Lanes.

The Panthers (4-0) delivered a 895-915-918-2,728 team scored while the Marauders (0-4) connected for 871-717-779-2,367.

Justin Grimm led Gowanda with 183-246-181-610, Trent Martin rolled a 214 and Jordan Schindler hit a 245 single.

For Dunkirk, Peter Kubera had a 243 and Brody Monzela a 182.

As for the Gowanda girls (3-1), they rolled a 761-656-675-2,092 while Dunkirk a 647-619-770-2,036.

High shooters for the Lady Panthers included Brittnee Stelley with 216-192-534, Malyssa Farley had 165-148-183-496 and Brianna Thompson had 153.

Hannah Schur led Dunkirk (1-3) with 147-150-210-498 and Caitlyn Chase rolled a 154.

RANDOLPH PREVAILS

RANDOLPH - The Randolph boys were 4-0 winners over Chautauqua Lake (0-8), improving to 7-5 for the season while the Lady Cardinals posted 1 3-1 Division 2 victory.

Starting with the boys, the Cardinals rolled 750-834-708-2,292 while the Thunderbirds had 487-557-474-1,536. Austin Dowiasz led the Cardinals with 167-236-186-589, Marcus Miller rolled 193-158-500 and Dalton Taylor had a 181 single.

Jeremy Evans had 157-372 for Chautauqua Lake.

The Randolph girls delivered a 600-550-586-1,736 while chautauqua Lake (1-8) had 496-583-525-1,604

Leading the Lady Cardinals was Tyler Henderson with 177-160-480, Cienna Ribblett had 167 and Courtney Eberle shot a 159 game,

For Chautauqua Lake, Heather Sullivan led with 195-201-528 and Jessica Parment had a149 game.

BULLDOGS, HORNETS SPLIT

FREDONIA - Brocton and Forestville battled to a 2-2 Division 2 tie at Lucky Lanes with each team now 6-2 for the season.

The Hornets had a 813-931-900-2,644 team score while the Bulldogs rolled a 825-942-784-2,551.

For Brocton, John Nickerson was the scoring leader with 560 and Steven Krystofiak had 211-525.

John Murphy was the top shooter for the Hornets with a 205-222-605 and Phillip Narraway had 535.
