Joan E. Eckert, 79, died Thursday Nov. 30, 2012, in her home.
She was born Sept. 26, 1933, in Gerry, a daughter of the late George and Ruby Johnson Eckert.
She was a 1952 graduate of Panama High School and had been employed by Lind Welding Supply for many years.
Surviving are a sister, Dolores Carlson of Panama, and a brother, George Eckert of New Jersey.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Doris Sanders.
No funeral service or visitation will be observed.
