Ring Elementary School students recently showed their school pride by showing they are "college-bound" during American Education Week. Each day, the school held a specific theme to remind students and staff of the school's goals. Students on Ring is College Bound Day could wear college or "dress for success" attire. Another day, Education is a Team Sport, allowed students and staff to wear their favorite team sports jersey. Learning is Fun Day had everyone wearing "mismatched" clothing. Friday was Proud to be a Roadrunner Day where students and staff wore the school colors - blue and yellow. "We celebrate American Education Week to remind our students and staff of our school's goals," said Ring principal Connie Foster. "Having theme days at the elementary-school level is just a fun way to reinforce the importance of education."
