The Southwestern Varsity wrestling program will play host to the third annual Preseason Youth Novice Wrestling Tournament for ages 5-12 on Sunday in the Southwestern High School gymnasium.
This event is for first- and second-year wrestlers only and all participants will wrestle three matches and are guaranteed to receive a trophy.
Weigh-in's will take place from 8-9 a.m. and wrestling will begin at 9:30 a.m. It is expected that the event will end at around 2 p.m.
Food will be available in the cafeteria throughout the day.
The cost to enter the tournament is $18 per wrestler and registrations are still being accepted.
